The Comptroller of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs paid a working visit to the Consulate, where he had extensive discussions with the Consul General and officers of the Mission on a range of financial, administrative and operational matters.
During the visit, the Comptroller provided guidance and clarification on the implementation of relevant financial laws, regulations, policies, and procedures governing the operations of the Consulate.
The Comptroller emphasized the importance of prudent management of public resources and encouraged the Consulate to ensure that all financial transactions and administrative activities are conducted in accordance with the applicable laws and regulations.
The working visit also provided an opportunity to exchange views on broader matters affecting the effective and efficient functioning of the Consulate, as well as to identify areas where additional support may be required.
The Consul General warmly welcomed the Comptroller and expressed her appreciation for the visit and information provided during the discussion.
