The Consulate General of the Republic of Liberia near Minnesota performs its duties as a Diplomatic Mission of the Republic of Liberia and is responsible for providing consular services within its area of jurisdiction in accordance with local and international laws.

Its consular activities include the issuance of visas, birth affidavits, laissez-passers, notarial services, investment-related inquiries, the issuance of biometric Liberian passports, and participation in meetings and engagements of interest to the Government of Liberia.

In addition, the Consulate promotes the national interests of the Republic of Liberia, safeguards the well-being of Liberian nationals in the receiving state, and advances Liberia’s economic, commercial, and cultural relations. The Consulate also facilitates trade and investment promotion and, where necessary and within the ambit of the law, provides related services.
